The city of Hyderabad, famous as Bhagyanagar, is going to witness a global cultural festival. The huge courtyard of Shilpakala Vedika located in the city’s Hi-Tech City has started getting decorated for Lokmanthan-Bhagyanagar-2024. A global cultural festival named Lokmanthan is going to be held in this complex between 21 and 24 November, in which various colors of the cultural splendor of the country and the world are going to be spread. On November 22, the festival will be formally inaugurated by the President of India, Draupadi Murmu ji.

Lok Manthan is the concept of J. Nandkumar.

The ideological organization which produced Lok Manthan is called Pragya Pravah. J. Nandkumar is the national convener of the same Pragya Pravah. The idea of ​​Lok Manthan is the meaningful result of the intellectual imagination of J. Nandkumar. Nandkumar, who has been working full time in various fields of social life for years, has a wealth of age and experience. He is deeply connected with the various forms and dimensions of Indian culture. No one remains unimpressed by his understanding during a conversation. Moreover, his simplicity captivates the mind.

For the last several days, Nandkumar ji has been camping in Hyderabad to give a tangible form to his vision. A huge group of committed workers are working with him day and night to make the festival a success.

Colonial mentality still effective
National Convenor J Nandkumar explains- “The main objective of Lok Manthan is to free India from colonial mentality and to make the world aware of the noble aspects of its ancient art and culture. So far, its events have been organized in Bhopal, Ranchi, Guwahati. Hyderabad is witnessing the fourth Lok Manthan this year”.

President Murmu will inaugurate the exhibition. J. Nandkumar said that on November 21, the former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu will inaugurate the exhibition. Many big cultural presentations will also be held on the same day. In this global event of Pragya Pravah, the indigenous people of ten countries will display their folk culture. In the exhibition, there will also be food stalls from those countries as well as from different states of India.

On the second day i.e. 22nd November, President Draupadi Murmu ji will officially inaugurate the festival. On the last day, RSS chief Dr. Mohan Rao ji Bhagwat will be present as the chief guest. Many eminent people like Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Governor Acharya Devvrat will be present during the conference. Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy is the chairman of the organizing committee.
